Kiss My Glass Collective
Kiss My Glass (KMG) are a collective of Perthshire based artists, specialising in traditional stained glass techniques. From July - September 2026, we are taking over a shop in Perth, as part of the Make Room project, where we are selling, creating, demonstrating, promoting and restoring stained glass art.
Stained glass is an increasingly endangered ancient craft - the artists at KMG Collective are passionate about helping to raise its profile and getting the people of Perth and beyond interested and involved in preserving its future.
Make Room is a project delivered by Perth’s UNESCO City of Craft designation, with support from Culture Perth & Kinross and Perth & Kinross Council. Make Room is a pilot project exploring alternative uses for vacant shop units whilst supporting local craft makers.
KMG is not a part of Fingal's Cave, but we are grateful to them for donating this space on their website to promote our work.
Real Art by Real Artists
In a world of mass production and computer generation, we are proud to be different. Our art is hand crafted from concept to delivery, starting with a drawing (we call those cartoons), cutting and grinding the glass to shape, leading and soldering, cementing and polishing, framing and installing.
It is a labour of love and every piece is entirely unique.
Our shop is full of work already completed and looking for a new home, and our artists are available to take on new projects. Please drop into the shop or get in touch via email if you'd like to discuss a commission.

Royal Bar Window Restoration Project
During the summer of 2025, the building that housed the Royal Bar was devastated by fire, resulting in the tragic loss of one person's life and the homes of many others. The pub below was also destroyed... but the famous windows were removed before demolition.
Kiss My Glass have taken on the task of creating a memorial tribute by rescuing, recycling and restoring part of the salvaged windows. We hope that the finished artwork will be housed in the Perth Museum or another suitable space where the people of Perth can view it.
This project will take longer than the Make Room space will be available, so we are looking to secure a short-term lease for an industrial unit to safely dismantle and reconstruct the glass. We will also need to purchase specialist equipment and PPE - 100+ year old lead and cement dust can be pretty nasty for your health - and replace the lead, cement, and some of the glass so we're looking for sponsorship and donations to help make this happen.

Demonstrations & Community Project
We're more than just a shop or a gallery.
Here at Kiss My Glass, we are passionate about traditional stained glass art and the techniques used to create it. We want to share this passion, so we'll be working on live projects within the Make Room space where you can watch... or even have a go yourself!
We've come up with an idea for a community project to get folk involved in preserving this ancient craft and creating something truly original to our Fair City.
Inspired by Perth Museum's current exhibition on Perth's famous vennels, we'd like you to help us create an abstract glass panel based on a map of the city centre.
